18 armed robbers arrested by police

About 18 suspected armed robbers have been arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police Command at Railways, a suburb of Kumasi.
The arrest, according to the police, is to clump down on the increasing spate of armed robbers in the region.
The operation was undertaken by the Buffalo Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
The robbers normally hide around the Railways and rob people of their belongings at night. The police are still searching for more suspects as others who spotted the police took to their heels.
