The People’s National Convention (PNC) has said all is set for its national delegates’ congress this weekend at the Brong Ahafo regional capital, Sunyani.
The party said it is hopeful of a successful congress after fighting several legal battles.
This weekend’s congress is expected to see the election of a flagbearer and other national officers of the minority party in Ghana.
The general secretary of the PNC, Bernard Mornah said, “We went to the regional capitals and we have had interactions with the regional police commanders, polyclinic authority, hotels and also some schools where our delegates will rest. ”
He added that key members of the party are already in the Brong Ahafo region to ensure all preparations continue smoothly ahead of the congress.
“On Thursday, the leader of the party will arrive in Sunyani and on Friday, the rest of us will follow,” Mornah revealed.
