Betty Mould-Iddrisu resigns
The Minister for Education, Betty Mould-Iddrisu has resigned her position from government.
A senior government source told Citi News that the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice tendered in her resignation letter at the presidency.
The source also added that President Mills has accepted the resignation letter by Betty Mould-Iddrisu.
According to the source, Mrs Mould-Iddrisu said she does not want to derail the Better Ghana Agenda and finds her resignation appropriate.
The resignation comes days after President Mills fired his minister for Justice and Attorney General, Martin Amidu for misconduct.
