Black Stars striker Mathew Amoah ruled out of Heerenveen’s Europa League qualifier

The 31-year-old has failed to recover from a hamstring injury he picked up during last Saturday’s friendly against FC Cologne.
“Amoah will miss our next match against Rapid Bucure?ti ,” Heerenveen coach Marco van Basten said on Wednesday.
“We will keep our options open.”
Amoah joined the Dutch Eredivisie side from Turkish side Mersin.
Heerenveen host the Romanian side at the Abe Lenstra Stadium in the first leg.
