The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the appointment of Maxwell Konadu as the assistant coach of the Black Stars.
Kotoko’s impressive performance in the country’s top-flight league has been largely attributed to the experience, personality and the knowledge of the game of the former All Stars boss.
The duo worked wonders to hand the West African powerhouse their first ever gold medal in football at the 2011 All Africa Games held in Maputo and there many who feel the highly respected coach is the ideal candidate for the Black Stars position.

There was no space for Dr Percy Annan, whose position as the medical officer has been assumed by Dr Adam Baba with Col Ofosu Anim appointed as the Physiotherapy of the team while Samuel Ankomah will serve as the masseur.
