How to Make Ghana Fufu without using fufu flour

Are you tired of these artificial Fufu flour with fake colors? Worry no more, am going to show you how you can make fufu like you are in a Ghana Village. This is natural and healthy way. Stop buying these expensive fufu flours and start making better fufu at home with no hustle.

Follow these easy steps to make delicious Fufu Now

1. Put Water in a Pot or Silver bowl and put the Pot or Silver on a gas.  Switch on your gas, put  it to the highest  temperature, lower the fire when the water  starts to evaporate. Cover the top of the Pot or Silver Bowl.

2. Take out the Plantains you bought at your local store. Cut the plantains into pieces. You can choose to cook the plantain or not to.  Put the sliced plantain pieces in a blender, Pour small amount of water on it. Let it blend completely. Make Sure there are no bumps in it.

3. Open the Pot or Silver Bowl.  Add the blended plantain to the hot water in the Pot or Silver .Lower the fire. Get a wooden or locally known as Banku Ta, Stir it nicely for the hot water to completely mix with  the  plantain. It will become firm within a short amount of time, but don’t stop there, keep stirring till it becomes thick  like  Cassavadough. Make Sure there are no bumps in it.

4. Get a nice plate and dump the fufu on it, mold it with your hands or any round like bowl into a ball, and put it the fufu in your serving plate. Enjoy it with your soup.

    How much water and how much plantain?

    • bro any amount of water you prefer because some people want it their fufu hard so they dont add alot of water to it if you want it to be soft add about 1 and half amount of water. for the plantain it depends on you bro. you can cook about seven plantatins and up. thank you if you dont understand it plesea let me know i will get back at you and possible

  2. when making the fufu which way do you think is better cooking the plantains first or leaving them raw?
