Inusah Fuseini: Drag Kwadwo Impiani and Mike Oquaye to court over ISOFOTON

Inusah Fuseini is a Deputy Minister of Energy

A Deputy Energy Minister and MP for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini is calling for prosecution of former Chief of Staff, Kwadwo Mpiani and former Energy Minister, Prof Mike Oquaye over the ISOFOTON judgment debt saga.

Speaking on Citi Fm’s news analysis programme, The Big Issue on Saturday, Mr. Inusah noted that Mr. Mpiani terminated the ISOFOTON contract with support from Prof Mike Oquaye without duly consulting the then President – John A. Kufuour.

According to him, the former Chief of Staff must be particularly held accountable for arbitrarily abrogating a contract which has plunged the nation into debt.

He said, “Deputy Speaker of Parliament and MP for Kwabenya and also one time Energy Minster has questions to answer in this matter; why he failed and refused to let the tendering process that he in his wisdom, properly or so advised, initiated to let it run to its logical and sound conclusion.”

Mr. Fuseini noted that “people who act with impunity when occupying government offices must be held accountable for their acts.”
