Kum chacha aka Prophet Nicholas Osei denies using sex organ to remove evil spirit
Prophet Nicholas Osei aka Kum chacha, leader of Heaven Gate Ministries, says it is untrue he attempted to use his sex organ to remove an evil spirit which he claimed was hiding in the private parts of a married woman, Gifty Acheampong, in Kumasi.
The prophet was arrested last Tuesday on allegations that he had attempted to rape 21-year-old Gifty, after he had lured her into room 20 of the Sanbra Hotel at Adum in Kumasi.
The Man of God has however admitted that he was at the said hotel but explained that though he had a congregation of over 4000 members, he held his counseling sessions at the hotel where he had been staying for the past two years.
He accused two unnamed pastors of setting him up, saying that because of the large congregation he commanded, the other pastors in the Garden City were envious of him.
He told Okay Fm in Accra yesterday that he rather reported the conduct of Gifty and her boyfriend to the Striking Force in Kumasi when the unnamed boyfriend of the woman at the centre of the controversy stormed his room without notice, not even from the hotel receptionist.
He also denied that he carried nine phones on him, saying he only had three phones.
Prophet Kum chacha said contrary to media reports that Gifty was married, the 21-year-old lady was unmarried and the man whom she claimed to be the husband was rather her boyfriend.
Gifty was reported to have desperately struggled with the Man of God who was already sexually charged and she eventually raised an alarm, which attracted other people to the hotel.
Eyewitnesses say the victim came out of the hotel with torn clothes and that the prophet, before his arrest, was sneaked out of the hotel to avoid a mob attack.
Kum chacha was granted a police enquiry bail on Tuesday but he has denied the allegation, describing it as a plot by two unnamed pastors to tarnish his reputation.
He however would not give details on what dealings he had with the married woman and how they found their way into the hotel room.
DAILY GUIDE had reported that a member of Kumchacha’s church, Dorcas, had invited the victim over for prayer and counseling and that the latter had alleged that when the pastor called her for counseling, he unzipped his trousers, removed his manhood and ordered her to fondle it but she refused.
She narrated that immediately she entered the room in the church, Kum cha cha remarked that she was extremely beautiful and that he was very much interested in her big breasts.
The 21-year-old married woman said a couple of days after the first incident, Kum chacha called her on the phone and invited her to the Sanbra Hotel for another counseling session.
Sensing danger due to her first experience, the victim reportedly informed her husband who gave her the green light to respond to the counseling invite.
According to her, while at the hotel, she kept communicating with her husband until Kum chacha invited her into the room and forcibly seized her mobile phone and switched it off.
She alleged that the pastor told her that come what may, he would have sex with her and that it was better she cooperate to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.
The woman said since she was not ready to succumb to the man of God’s sexual demands, she resisted his advances to the point where it degenerated into a struggle.
