Legon sanctions 7, but Amina Haruna says “I don’t care”
Amina Haruna, the lady alleged to have been sexually assaulted by some students of the University of Ghana after they accused her of theft has expressed indifference at the decision of the University authorities to sanction seven f her alleged molesters.
The authorities of the University of Ghana, last week dismissed one student while six others were suspended for two academic years.
The punishment was independent of the ongoing trial of some 14 students for the same offence at an Accra Circuit Court.
Amina, who was captured on video after allegedly stealing two laptops and a mobile phone in the Mensah Sarbah Hall, in an exclusive interview, told Citi News that she was not in a good mood and could care less about whatever course of action the University had decided to take since the mandate to impose punishment was not at her discretion.
Asked if she had any message for her molesters, she simply reiterated “I don’t care, I don’t care”.
