Michael Essien and Nadia Buari back together
After it was confirmed that Ghana’s international soccer star Michael Essien and pretty-faced actress Nadia Buari had called their relationship quits, the two were seen together in public on Saturday.
The two showed up at the Aphrodisiac Night Club during the eviction party hosted by Multichoice to officially welcome home one of Ghana’s two representatives in the on-going Big Brother Amplified Reality Show, Confidence Haugen.
It is not clear whether or not Essien and Nadia arrived at the party together. They were however not seen talking or all over each other as they used to when times were good.
The eviction party kicked off at a little after midnight, with DJ Nii Ayi in charge of the music and at 2am, every available space in the club was occupied.
Virtually every available space on the compound and its immediate environs, stretching onto the main roads leading to Accra, Airport and Dzorwulu Junction, were occupied with cars of celebrities and patrons, which made it clear that it was not just a party, but a gig for celebrities.
The atmosphere was charged with interesting mixes from various Djs like Nii Ayi Tagoe, DJ Mensah and a few other guests, till the event came to a close.
DJ Ice, who later took over from Nii, also showed his dexterity with the turn tables. He took fans on a journey into the recent past, entertaining them with a good number of old hit songs.
It was obvious the ladies who attended the party were having the time of their lives as they danced non-stop, winding and grinding their waists, thus attracting a number of young guys to the dance floor.
Even though the night club was packed as at 1:15am on Sunday morning, there were still hundreds of people outside struggling to get in.
It was a night of stars and celebrities and there was constant flow of expensive wines of exotic taste.
Showbiz gurus in attendance included Bola Ray of JOY FM, Ann Sackey of Multichoice, Kofi Adjorlolo, Nadia Buari, Kwaw Kese, D Cryme, Kofi Otchere Darko (KOD), and a host of others.
Whilst fans were busy dancing, DJ Mensa announced the presence of Confidence Haugen at the club at about 2:30am. She spent some time interacting with her fans and loved ones and also provided opportunities for them to take photographs with her.
For some patrons of the club, the party was a once in a life time opportunity given to them to express their love for fun and excitement, together with some of their most cherished celebrities.
