Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin signs Book of condolence

Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin

The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, accompanied by the Adontonhene, Oseawuohene, Tafohene, Akwatiahene, Apedwahene, Abontendomhene and Kadehene, as well as an entourage of elders, today, called at the residence of the late President, Prof. J.E.A. Mills, to express his condolences to Dr. Ernestina Naadu Mills.

In a short address, Osabarima Kyeretwie Boakye Dankwa, Abontendomhene, expressed grief at the demise of Prof. Mills, whom he described as a true friend of Osagyefuo’s and of the Okyeman state.

He said the obvious peace that was prevalent in the country was as a result of the late President’s symbolic leadership which has unified the whole country even in his death.

He wished Dr. Naadu Mills well, with a prayer that God would comfort her and grant her the courage and strength to endure this difficult period of mourning.

A spokesperson for Dr. Naadu Mills expressed her appreciation to Osagyefuo and his entourage for taking the time to travel all the way from Kyebi to call on her in person and to mourn with her.
