President Mahama declares August 10, Public holiday

President John Mahama has declared Friday August 10, the day on which Professor John Evans Atta Mills will be buried as a public holiday.

This is to enable all who are desirous of participating in the event to do so

President Mahama has also designated the Marine Drive in Accra, the final place of rest for the late President Mills, popularly known as the Geese Park, as the official burial place for presidents of the country who would want to be buried at the place when they die.
