Black Stars Goalkeeper Richard Kingson is happy his younger brother, Laryea Kingson, chose to play for a local club, Accra Hearts of Oak rather than staying idle until he gets a new club in Europe.

Laryea Kingston joined his former club, Hearts of Oak last month to play in the remaining fixtures of the GLO premier league.

The 30 year-old has been inactive since his contract with Dutch side, Vitesse Arnhem was terminated in December 2010.

His return to the to the local league is expected to keep him in shape ahead of a possible move to the MLS in the United States or in Saudi Arabia when the next transfer window opens.

Blackpool goalkeeper, Richard Kingson told Umar-Farouk Atipaga on Citi FM’s mid-week sports programme, ‘Half time’ that he believes Laryea will seize this opportunity to be able to make a huge impact in his next career move.

“I feel okay because it’s a good decision to enjoy what you have been for a long time. He has to establish himself from there and I believe by the end of the season Laryea will get a Club in Europe to play. To sit at home and just train without playing can also bring you down, so I am happy he took that decision” Kingson stated.
