Stephen Appiah hints at ending career at Hearts of Oak

Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has hinted he could end his playing career with Hearts of Oak.

The 31-year-old played for his boyhood club between 1995-97 before he secured a move to Italian side Udinise.

The ex-Juventus and Fenerbache has not ruled out a return to hang his boots at the 2000 African Champions.

“It is always good to return home and play for your former club. Hearts of Oak has done a lot for me, so yes I don’t mind finishing my career there,” Appiah told Finder Sports

“I am still playing in Serbia so let’s see what happens in the future,”

Appiah is set to be handed a permanent deal at Serbian side Vojvodina after he Overly impressed on his short stints at the club.
