Two persons have been arrested by the Madina Divisional Police Command for having in their procession 78 boxes of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, popularly called ‘wee’.
The suspects are Micheal Ohene Amade, 33, and Jerry Nyarko, 31.

Upon a search conducted in the house, 15 large boxes containing 78 parcels of substances suspected to be Indian hemp were found in one of the rooms.
The two suspects who were living in the house were immediately arrested for questioning.
The main suspect (name withheld), according to the police chief, was on the run but plans were underway to arrest him.
The two, according to Chief Superintendent Aryitey, would be processed for court soon.
